Introducing your hosts; Daisy White and Lisa Brace. Two intrepid authors navigating the snake infested, glitter-covered jungle of publishing, sharing their successes (and disasters!) along the way.

In addition to full time jobs, and working to their own book deadlines, the two have been running successful writing retreats for the past three years. It’s a great hobby and allows them to share knowledge and experiences with others in the writing community.

During their time running retreats they realised how much of a need there was for aspiring authors to get advice which is structured clear, honest and current.

Daisy and Lisa run a few small groups retreats every year, with the emphasis on wellness and beautiful surroundings.

In addition the pair are prolific speakers, and can be seen at literary festivals across the south-east, running workshops/book signings and author chats.

D.E. White has been writing since 2012, and has over 20 published books, which have sold over 500,000 copies worldwide. She writes crime fiction, thrillers and cosy mysteries, and is best known for her Detective Dove Milson series (Joffe Books), but is also published by HQ Digital (HarperCollins), and Storm Books. Lisa Brace is an award-winning British writer, who has worked as a journalist and copywriter for over 20 years and enjoys contributing features on a range of topics. As well as women’s fiction she also writes historical fiction with a female focused slant. Star Survivor, which came out in March was her debut novel, her first historical fiction novel, Swim followed quickly in June.
